it’s a funny thing. it really is.

every summer blog must eventually come to an end :)
today’s the last official day of summer 2008 — it still feels like summer’s forever though.

starting tomorrow–if i remember–this blog will have a new name.
but there’s no rush ;)

it really sucks when that summer lovin’ feeling is suddenly dashed by very harsh words. i love words, but they really sting sometimes. even more so than the mosquito bites gathering for little itch-parties everywhere on my skin.

However, I’m determined to finish the LAST EVER blog of Summer two-double-oh-eiight on a good note:

I sorted through my Grade 10 stuff and stuffed everything in a big plastic garbage bag, as per tradition. (And trashed most of the other stuff I won’t ever look at again.)

It felt so…final.
Grade 10’s gone. Age of innocence, woooo.

Grade 11’s off to a really strange start, actually: uncertain friendships, world issues, and thoughts on everything in general.

Hmm.
This really doesn’t sound like me talking at all.
WEIIRD.

With all the clean-up today, Grade 10 is officially over. Done.
Put away until I decide to dig up English notes so I don’t have to take new ones.

I think I’m really gonna miss it.

Grade 11’s gonna be pretty kick-ass.
It better be.

You know what?
It will be.

Because of those RESP stress-cubes at work.
Because of the people that will always make you smile.
Because of that IKEA 2009 magazine that will keep you hoping for cuter furniture.
